milkshake, or simply shake, is a drink that is usually made by blending milk ice cream, and flavorings or sweeteners such as butterscotchcaramel saucechocolate syrupfruit syrup, or whole fruit into a thick, sweet, cold mixture.

Mango Milkshake( mango shake):

Mango milkshake is a tempting fruit drink and prepared simply by blending ripe mango pieces, milk and sugar. However, for those who are looking for something different, there are few tips and serving ideas mentioned below which can simply make it a divine experience in every sip.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Serves: 2 serving


  • 2 large ripe mangoes (approx. 2 cups chopped mango)
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon sugar (or to taste)
  • 3-4 ice cubes
  • 3-4 scoops Mango ice cream (optional)


1.Wash, peel and chop mangoes into small pieces, discard stone. Transfer them to a blender jar.

2. Add milk, sugar (to taste or according to sweetness of mango) and ice cubes.

3. Blend until smooth and creamy liquid is formed without any chunks of mangoes. In serving glass, add one (or more) scoops of ice cream and pour milkshake on top of it. Garnish with almonds if you want and serve.

Strawberry Milkshake:

Strawberry milkshake is prepared simply with three main ingredients: Strawberries, milk and sugar, but tastes heaven when served chilled. It is fresh, creamy and flavorful.

  • 6-9 (fresh or frozen) Ripe Strawberries ( approx. 1 cup halved Strawberries)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup ice-cream (vanilla or strawberry)
  • 1 teaspoon honey or sugar ( optional)
  • 2-3 ice-cubes


1.Wash the Strawberries and pat dry them. Remove stem and cut them into half.

2. Now add milk, ice cream and halved strawberries in a blender jar. If you like, you can add 1 teaspoon sugar or honey for extra sweetness.

3. Blend until smooth puree is formed. In serving glass, add 1-2 ice cubes and then pour milkshake in glass. Serve chilled.

Vanilla Milkshake:

It’s world favorite milkshake, is a smooth and creamy concoction of vanilla ice cream, milk, vanilla extract topped with vermicelli for irresistible look. Follow the recipe give below and discover why it is world’s favorite.

  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract ( or 3-4 drops vanilla essence, optional )
  • 1 teaspoon sugar ( optional )
  • 1-2 ice cubes


1.In a blender jar add milk, vanilla extract and sugar. (If vanilla extract is not available then don’t worry, milkshake prepared without using vanilla extract also gives a good taste.)

2. Add vanilla ice cream and blend again until a smooth and creamy milkshake is formed.

3. Take serving glass, add 1-2 ice cubes and pour milkshake on top of it. Serve chilled.

Chocolate Milkshake:

Delicious, thick and creamy Chocolate milkshake recipe using cocoa powder. Chocolate milkshake is loved most of the kids. This is not a cake style shake, but a simple home style milkshake that you can make easily at home.

Preparation Time: 10-12 minutes

Serve: 2 servings


  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 3-4 ice cubes
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon grated chocolate (or ice cream or whipping cream for garnish)
  • 1/2 pure powdered cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup ( optional )


1.Along with milk add sugar and cocoa powder to a blender jar. Blend it until cocoa dissolves completely.

2. Now add ice cubes, cinnamon and blend well until it becomes creamy and frothy.

3. Blend the mixture until a smooth texture milkshake is formed.

4. If you wish to decorate your glass, then melt some chocolate and pour it on the sides of the glass from inside. You can also use some thick chocolate syrup.

5. Pour chocolate milkshake to a serving glass and garnish with grated chocolate or ice cream or whipped cream.

Note: Serve chocolate milkshake immediately as the flavor of cocoa changes as time passes by.

Avocado Milkshake:

Avocado milkshake a healthy and creamy milkshake made from only three ingredients – ripe avocado, milk and sugar. Avocado is also known as butter fruit. This milkshake doesn’t require ice cream to bring creaminess because avocado’s flesh is creamy in texture.

  • 1 large ripe Avocado
  • 2 cups milk or Almond milk
  • 3 tablespoon sugar or to taste
  • 1-2 ice cubes (optional for serving)


1. Choose ripe avocado by pressing it gently; if it is hard, it means Avocado is unripe; if it’s too soft then it means Avocado is overripe; if it’s soft yet little firm, then it means Avocado is ready. Cut it into half and remove the pit.

3. Blend until smooth texture is formed. Taste it for sugar at this stage and add more sugar if desired. Grind again for few seconds. Avocado Milkshake is now ready for serving. Pour it into two serving glasses with ice cubes.

Note: consume the milkshake immediately. As ti,e passes, it would start to become dark due to oxidization.

Dry fruit Milkshake:

Healthy, creamy and delicious milkshake made with various dry fruits and nuts. This makes a great nutritious breakfast or after school drink. One cup of this milkshake provides a good amount of protein and calcium needed regularly for growing kids.

Preparation Time: 30 minutes

Serve: 3 servings


  • 2 tablespoon pistas
  • 10 almonds (badam)
  • 10 cashews
  • 2 dried figs ( dried anjeer )
  • 3 dates (chopped or use as needed)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamon powder
  • 2 1/2 cups milk


1. Soak almonds, pistas, cashews and figs in enough water for at least 45 minutes to 1 hour. Soaking gives a creamy taste to the shake. If you prefer cold milkshake, then chill the dry fruits in the fridge.

2. Peel off the almond skin. Drain the water and add all of these to a blender jar.

3. Add cardamon powder and chopped dates.

4. Pour 1 cup milk and blend them very well to a smooth mixture.

5. Add more milk and blend again.

6. Garnish dry fruits milkshake with sliced nuts. If you want it more chilled, you can serve it with some ice cubes in it.
